What CC Applications are still only 32-bit?

Is there some way to determine whether a given Creative Cloud application is still only 32-bit?  I mean other than creating a 64-bit package and looking to see if it installs to Program Files or Program Files (x86)?  That's what I've been doing, but I've since discovered after re-packaging Photoshop and installing it on a test system, that it's now available as 64-bit application.  Can I get notified of changes like this?


Trying to Serialize Trial version of Adobe Cs6 Design Standard on Mac

Hi,

 

We have created a Trial package of Adobe Cs6 Design Standard using  AAMEE 3.1 latest version. We followed the guidelines outlined in    

http://www.adobe.com/devnet/creativesuite/enterprisedeployment.html  to create a Serialization file. However when we try to Run the Command in terminal "AdobeSerialization --tool=VolumeSerialize --provfile=Absolute_Path_of_prov.xml" we get an error which states AdobeSerialization command not found.  Am I missing something here while running the command? Serialization  workflow creates a output folder containing AdobeSerialization executable file  and a prov.xml file. Can't we run the executable directly without using any command on Mac?  We are in the process of using this workflow in order to  streamline the licensing in enterprise. Any help would be much appreciated.

How do we automate AUSST resync ?

In our orginisation we have an adobe update server deployed the issue i am having is automating the  download process.

 

It says in the documentation that the resync command (keystroke 2) must be entered every time to get the program to check for updates ?

 

Is there no startup argument to automate the process why does it relay on user input ?

 

Ive tried sendkeys combined with a scheduled task but most of the time the rusultis AUSST sitting on the desktop waiting for user input when it looses focus and the keys are sent elsewhere

 

Whats the proper way to do this ?

I cannot aktivate my Acrobat license. I installed Acrobat DC Pro for testing. Now I bougt an Acrobat DC Pro license via VIP. After login in Acrobat with my Adobe ID I have to type in a license key, but there is no license key in my Adobe VIP Portal.

How to list Adobe updates in Apple Remote Desktop via Unix command?

Currently I use Apple Remote Desktop(ARD) to send the following UNIX command as root:

sudo /usr/sbin/RemoteUpdateManager

to the machines remotely so Remote Update Manager opens and checks for updates, downloads and installed them. This works great!

 

I'm trying to figure out how to send a command to just show me a list of updates first. I looked at this post:

Which listed some actions to try but I can't get it to work. I have tried:

sudo /usr/sbin/RemoteUpdateManager --action=list.

 

I get the following error:

Unrecognized option : --action

Starting the RemoteUpdateManager...

 

Missing or Incorrect parameters.

 

Commandline Usage :

 

      RemoteUpdateManager [--proxyUserName=<username> [--proxyPassword=<password>]] [--channelIds=<',' seperated channelIds>] [{-h, -help, --help}]

 

RemoteUpdateManager must be launched with elevated privileges.

 

RemoteUpdateManager exiting with Return Code (1)


Does anybody have any idea what command works that I can run to have it list the available updates?

RUM does not find updates (both with local AUSST and without)

I have deployed a Creative Cloud Packager-Package to about a dozen Macs (OSX 10.11.5) last year. Until some time in this year, I successfully used RemoteUpdateManager (RUM) version 1.9.2 on the Macs along with an Adobe Update Server in-house (AUSST) to install updates to the Macs.

 

Recently I discovered that my version of the Adobe Update Server Setup Tool (3.0.0.59) does not download the newest updates for Photoshop and Illustrator. So I grabbed the new Creative Packager (CCPLauncher) and installed it. This have me access to the newest version of the Adobe Update Server Setup Tool (4.0.0.42) which I copied to my AUSST root folder. It downloaded 39 GB of new updates in the folder "ACC" in my AUSST root folder.

 

The next thing I noticed was that I needed to update RUM on the clients and the Overrides file as well. I created the client config (Overrides) and put it on the Macs. Then I grabbed the newest version (1.9.6) from the newly updated Creative Cloud Packager. Trying to use this version resulted in the following error:

Updating the Creative Cloud app by hand (Is there a pkg for deploying the Creative Cloud app, or another way of updating it?) solved the problem, but then no updates are found by RUM. Here is the output:

As you can see, this error also occurs without the overrides, meaning without my in-house AUSST. What am I doing wrong?


Collaborative Editing with CC for Teams

My work recently purchased the Creative Cloud for Teams because we were told by a sales rep that collaborative editing would be seamless. I was told that I could be working in Premiere from one computer and send a clip it to my vfx artist on another computer through the cloud. So when I contacted Adobe Support on how exactly to do that, they told me that feature does not yet exist. Is there anything I can do to make collaborative editing easier? Thanks.

RUM fails to download some updates from AUSST - fatal error '125'

Hello,

 

For some odd reason Remote Update Manager fails to download (and thus install) some upgrades. Others get downloaded just fine from AUUST

 

AUSST runs on 2008r2 IIS 7.5 (have experimentally added also mime type for files without extensions [IIS 8.5 fix])

AUSST upgraded to 4.0, whole dataset regenerated with --fresh and updates checked with --incremental

RUM client version upgraded to 1.9.6.17

 

Running out of options here, can anyone help?

Hey, Im having issues with Plug-ins agreeing with 2017 and would love to go back to 2015.5. How do I do this? the "download older version" in the CS menu in  the top right of my Mac screen doesn't happen anymore. Thanks!

Acrobat 2015 - disable sign-in?

I'm trying to install Acrobat Pro to a single Mac using our serial number (volume licence), but it's asking the user to sign in with an Adobe ID.

 

I've found the Provisioning Toolkit and admin guide, but this seems ridiculously complex and assumes a level of familiarity with Adobe terminology and unix (or a desire to acquire it!) that I don't possess for what should be a simple one-off install.

 

Is there a quick way to do suppress this - so the user can actually use the programe they've purchased?  I don't get why an Adobe sign-in is required on an application using a manually-inputted volume licence serial number with software from an ENTERPRISE portal...

Applications will not open unless connected to domain or VPN

Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2017.0, Adobe After Effects CC 2017.0, and Adobe Presenter Video Express all crash (actually, won't open, rather than crash) UNLESS the computer is connected to our domain, or the user is connected to the VPN.

 

I have a Lenovo P50 laptop with 16GB RAM and 4GB NVidia graphics card. The user is not a domain admin, but has temporary local admin privileges until we can determine if they are needed or not.

 

After 2 hours on the phone with Adobe support, including being transferred from the installation team to the Premiere team, I was told I needed to be transferred back to the installation team. In the end, I uninstalled all of the applications, copied the installer to the local drive, and reinstalled. Again, the applications will only load if the user is connected to the VPN.

 

I need help to understand why this is, and how to correct it so that she can use her software even if there is no internet available.

Hi There

 

I'm looking for automated removal of all installed creative apps from the PC that we can deploy silently in enterprise evironment.

I've tried using removal tool from adobe but for the life of me i can't get it to work silently. It will always propmt with options in CMD.

Is there a way to script it so that it removes all software unattended?

 

Also i noticed that it doesn't remove all programs, the Flash builder, Fireworks, Extension Manager and Edge Animate were stillpresent in physical form on the hard drive as well as in the registery and windows entries.

 

Does anyone have a clue how to autmate it?

When trying to launch the Creative Cloud Packager on my iMac, i'm running into the "Oops something has gone wrong, please try again" message.  I'm trying to create a deployment and retrying is not allowing me to do so.

Any hints at where to look for a log to explain what is actually happening with this?

Adobe Licensing Website / Problems Logging In

So when I go onto the Adobe Licensing website to log in with my Adobe ID it says "Adobe does not recognize you as an authorized user of this web site." I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong; I even changed my password and it still won't let me log in. Do I need a separate account for the licensing or..? Please help.

Adobe photoshop Elements 10 Serial Number Key? I need to install elements on my new computer but can't find the license number. How can I find it so I can reinstall it on my new computer please?

Adobe Cloud- how to attach files in mail

hi! I use iPad Air 2- I am unable to see Adobe Cloud as an option when I click the Attachment icon, in a mail that I want to send with the attachment. Drive as well as DropBox icons are there, but not for the files in Adobe Cloud. Is there an App for that- pl let me have the name Or any other way to attach files in Adobe Cloud, to a mail (hotmail or gmail). Appreciate help. Thanks so much.

Any fix for this error, I can't login to the site or the app --> Another user is currently logged in. In order to sign in, please clear your cookies and restart your browser.

I was troubleshooting 'error 49' updating issue when during the process I got logged out and couldnt log back in, any help would be greatly appreciated. It's an enterprise account.
