I'm stumped and I thought would run this by the forum, in case anyone else is seeing this issue. The conditions:
- DeployStudio RC135 (10.8.2 NetInstall Set), on an XServe.
- OS X 10.8.2 Image (Fully Updated).
- Adobe CS6 Design and Web Premium package built with AAMEE 3.1 on a clean 10.8.2 Mac. (Installed as a post-imaging task by DeployStudio).
All of my DeployStudio workflows that contain the CS6 Design/Web premium package fail to install CS6. After checking Adobe's error logs, it looks like there are several packages that fail to install post-imaging, including several that are associated with Adobe Illustrator. The installer package works fine if used outside of the imaging process (i.e., installation from the GUI while logged in as local admin). In addition, a package of AfterEffects CS6 built on the exact same tool, installed in the exact same conditions, works fine and completes successfully.
I've tried re-building the package several times, on several different computers, and tried the install on several different computers. This package always fails with the 10.8.2/DeployStudio post-imaging combination of variables. It always works when installed via the GUI, so that leads me to believe that this isn't an issue with the AAMEE 3.1 generated package itself, but a combination of the AAMEE built package and DeployStudio itself.
Anyone else seeing this?
