fix for " Installer package might be corrupt. Re-download the installer and try again. (PDF Settings

So if you're building CCP packages with 1.4, possibly earlier, and seeing this bug -

" Installer package might be corrupt. Re-download the installer and try again. (PDF Settings CS5 10.0.0.0..."

 

the problem, as found in https://jamfnation.jamfsoftware.com/discussion.html?id=7945 is straightforward. The permsissions on the AdobePDFSettings10-mul folder are incorrect. They get set to 744 which means that only the person who creates the package can successfully use it. The manual fix is pretty easy, albeit tedious: change the folder perms to 755 for that folder...

 

in every payload it shows up in

 

it is in fact as tedious as it sounds, but it does seem to work.
